SWINDON have been handed a Premiership play-off semi-final tie with Wolverhampton.

Thursday’s final meeting of the regular league season saw Poole win 51-39 at King’s Lynn to top the table by two points and secure choice of opponents, with the Pirates selecting Ipswich.

That means the Robins face a repeat of the 2017 Grand Final against Wolves, which went right down to the last race before Alun Rossiter’s side triumphed at Monmore Green.

The first leg of the semi will take place in the Black Country on Monday September 30, with the Robins hosting the return on Thursday October 3.
