ELLIS Perks, another member of Swindon’s league and cup double winning team, will be back with the club next season.

And boss Alun Rossiter says his return is a no brainer after his popularity with supporters.

Perks will go down in the sport’s history after winning all three league titles with the CFS Filtration Robins, Leicester Lions and Leicester Lion Cubs all in the same season.

Rossiter said: It was very clear what a fans’ favourite Ellis was when he came in.
“His never-say-die attitude really went down well, and I know he’s investing further in equipment, and he has a couple of sponsors on board to help out, so that will hopefully make a difference for him.”

Perks joins Jason Doyle, Troy Batchelor and Rasmus Jensen in the 2020 side with Rossiter confirming there is no room for Tobiasz Musielak or Claus Vissing.

“I need to be racing in the Premiership, it brings me on,” said Perks.

“Swindon were kind enough to grant me the opportunity in the top flight, and I loved the experience.

“It was an easy decision to return – we agreed a deal pretty early.

“It wasn’t straight away, but I think I was always on the cards of the four or five team ideas that Rosco (Alun Rossiter) and Lee (Kilby) had – it’s pleasing to know that.

“It’s great to be wanted and even better to be back.”
