SWINDON Speedway proudly present a very special evening with Robins pairing Jason Doyle and Troy Batchelor on Thursday, January 30 (7.30).

The double-winning duo will be on hand to provide insight on life as a speedway rider at Alun Rossiter’s Southbrook Inn.

Hosted by TV and radio broadcaster Nigel Pearson - the event provides a perfect opportunity to see Doyle and Batchelor up close and personal ahead of the 2020 season.

Tickets for this event are priced at £15 and are available online now via:

Robins boss Alun Rossiter said: “It will be great for fans to catch up with Doyley and Batch. Doyley missed the end of season dinner because he was back in Australia and I’m sure both guys will have plenty to say!”

Elsewhere, Swindon newcomer Jordan Stewart withdrew as a precautionary measure from the final round of the Australian Championship in Gillman on Saturday.

Despite being frustrated with his performances, Stewart expressed his desire to move on and focus on preparations for his first season with the club.

Stewart said: “I’m disappointed with the way things went again tonight and I wasn’t on the pace or making starts which is frustrating.

“It’s time to forget about it and get some hard yards done to get myself ready for what will be a big season for me in England with two clubs.”
